Brest: another appeal against actions of head of central department store

This time information about violation of the electoral legislation by the head of the department store Viktar Valiushytski was passed to the election commissions of Brest-Western election constituency #1 by one of his possible rivals, the head of the local branch of the Belarusian Social-Democratic Party (Hramada) Hanna Kanius.

According to her, members of her electoral team learned that Valiushytski held a number of meetings in his office with people who were responsible for dwelling houses in the Rechytsa suburb. They were summoned to the meeting by officers of communal utilities of the Leninski district of Brest. During the meetings they were told to facilitate the campaign on collection of signatures in support of Valiushytski's nomination as a candidate for the Parliament.

Hanna Kanius asks to hold a check-up concerning the meetings and take its results into account during the registration of Valiushytski's candidacy.

Bear in mind that earlier it was also found out that signatures in support of Valiushytski were also collected at the local tax inspection during the working hours. This violation was appealed to procuracy.
