The Vitsebsk regional committee of the Belarusian leftist party “Fair World” filed a lawsuit to the Orsha District and City Court against against violation of electoral rights by the Orsha City Executive Committee.

The plaintiffs state that none of the ten nominees of the party were included in the precinct election commissions of Orsha. The criteria for the choice of commissions' personnel weren't announced and the reasons for their non-inclusion weren't explained. At the same time, representatives of pro-governmental political parties were included in the PECs.

The plaintiffs ask to find the ruling of the Orsha City Executive Committees concerning the formation of the precinct election commissions unlawful.

A similar lawsuit was filed against the Orsha District Executive Committee which refused to include “Fair World” members in the PECs of the Orsha district.
