Halina Smirnova, Babruisk leader of the Radio-Electronic Industry independent trade union, has been summoned to local KGB department. The reasons for the expected interrogation are yet unknown.

Viktar Buzinayeu, local activist of the United Civil Party, was earlier summoned for interrogation by the same KGB agent who is expected to question Mrs. Smirnova – Pavel Silkou.
