Lida police confiscated yesterday some 15,000 leaflets produced by the United Civil Party. The leaflets cover the issues related to the current election campaign, calling voters to boycott the pseudo elections.

The car of the UCP’s local activist Siarhei Lis was stopped by road police outside Lida. He was then taken to the town’s police department and his car was searched. The activist was released without charges three hours later.
