Brest police detained last evening three activists of Brest-based pro-democratic coalition “Spadchyna” (“Heritage”), as they were distributing leaflets calling for a boycott of the elections.

Activists Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk, Andrei Sharenda and Viachaslau Barouski were taken to Brest Maskouski police department, where some 600 leaflets were seized.

Earlier, the coalition petitioned the OSCE PA mission to withdraw from election observation in Belarus.
