Five independent observers have been forced to leave polling station No. 449 in Minsk-based constituency No. 104, says Yury Salodkin, coordinator of the Tell the Truth campaign.

According to Yury Salodkin, at about 5 p.m. two men came to the polling station and showing their IDs to the head of the election commission said they were observers of the Belaya Rus pro-government pubic association. The men were extremely aggressive, provoked conflicts and threatened independent observers. After one of the independent observers asked for permission to charge the battery of his laptop, a Belaya Rus “observer” wrote a complaint against all the independent observers. As a result, all of them were ordered to leave the premises of the polling station.
