The head of the Brest regional organization of the Belarusian Social Democratic Party (Hramada) Ihar Maslouski received an answer from the election commission of the Brest-Central election constituency #2.

The former candidate demanded that the results of the election at his constituency be declared invalid, as far as the election there was accompanied by gross violations of the law. In particular, the BSDP (H) activist pointed that the borders of the election constituency and the location of the polling stations were changed during the election campaign. He also reminded that the observers' proposals to make the results of the voting visible in each ballot during the vote counting weren't met in any of the precincts. On the contrary, in a number of polling stations the observers were unable to observe this process at all, being kept at the distance of 3-5 meters from the table where the votes were counted.

The answer of the constituency election commission is laconic. It's essence is that the election in the constituency “was conducted with observance of requirements of the Electoral Code of the Republic of Belarus and recommendations of the Central Commission of the Republic of Belarus on elections and national referenda”.

Mr. Maslouski, in his turn, reminds the officials about legal liability for violations of the electoral legislation.
