On 5 September the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus considered the appeal of the head of the Barysau city organization of the United Civil Party Mikhail Vasiliieu against his non-registration as a candidate for the Parliament by the election commission of Barysau village constituency #63.
On 5 September the parliamentary candidates running at Shklou election constituency #90 Ryhor Kastusiou (from the Belarusian Popular Front Party) and Zinaida Mileshchanka (“Fair World” Party) appealed unlawful actions of their rival, deputy head of the State Control Committee of Belarus Aliaksandr Aheyeu, to the constituency election commission,
Constituency election commission #89 in Asipovichy blankly demanded that Albert Yaumenau, a candidate from the Belarusian Popular Front Party, presented a note from his job confirming that he was on a vacation leave in connection with the election. The commission threatens to deprive him of the registration as a candidate in the case he doesn't fulfill this requirement.
Mikalai Charnavus, a candidate for the Parliament running at Baranavichy-Western election constituency #5, presented his electoral program for publication at the state-owned newspaer “Nasha Krai”.
The Brest procuracy issued the civil activist Andrei Sharenda with a warning taking into account some “circumstances witnessing a violation of the Law “On mass events” (during his participation in the peaceful post-election protests on 19 December 2010 in Minsk).
Vitsebsk activist of the civil campaign “Tell The Truth” Siarhei Parsiukevich was going to run at Vitsebsk-Kastrychnitskaya constituency #20. However, the constituency election commission didn't register his candidacy, stating that a part of the signatures in his support were invalid. The Central Election Commission and the Supreme Court upheld this decision.
According to information which was received by a candidate of the Belarusian Popular Front Siarhei Antonau, his rival, a candidate for the Parliament at Bykhau election constituency #81, head of the Slauharad Ditrict Council and the Slauharad district organization of the “Belaya Rus” Tatsiana Kananchuk has held an electoral meeting with the labor collective of the Bykhau bread-baking plant during the working hours.
On 4 September the Supreme Court considered an appeal of Aksana Samuilava, an activist of the “Tell the Truth” civil campaign from Mahiliou, against the decisions of a constituency election commission and the Central Election Commission not to register her as a candidate for the Parliament.
Dyiana Kastsiukovich, a candidate for the Parliament at Brest-Eastern election constituency #3, nominated by the United Civil Party, still cannot receive a precise answer to her appeals to different state agencies in connection with the limitations she had faced during the recording of her TV speech.
